Welcome to the Craft Beer Radio coverage from the 2007 Great American Beer Festival in Denver Colorado October 11th - 13th. On this page you will find all of the footage that was gathered while covering the festival.
There is too much content to put it all on the normal podcast feed so we created a new feed that contains all of the GABF coverage. If you subscribe to this feed in your podcast software such as iTunes you can easily download all Five and a half hours of interviews, demonstrations, and of course, the awards ceremony.
Soon, you will be able to check out our Flickr page for photos from the fest, there are a few, but with the microphone in the left hand and the camera in the right, I wasn't able to get too many shots.
Also make sure to listen to show 92 (when it is released) to hear Jeff's recap of the festivities.
This clip was put together with 4 short but good interviews. First is Garrett Marrero Brewer at Maui Brewing, then is Ray Brewer at Mission Brewing, Tomme Arther brewer at Port Brewing/The Lost Abbey, and finally Charlie Papazian.
During the GABF Boston Beer Company announces the Sam Adams Longshot winners, as well has has balloting on the employee homebrewing competition. In this segment I talk with all of the finalists as well as Jim's announcement of the winners.
The two beers that were selected this year are fantastic, A Double IPA and a Weizen Bock, Congratulations to the winners, and for the runners up, I hope to try your beer next year.
One of the first people I talked to at the fest was Julie Bradford from All About Beer Magazine We talk about how to formulate a plan of attack for the fest as well as the New design of All About Beer and their very own World Beer Fest.
Towards the end of the Longshot breakfast I was able to sit down with Jim Koch from Boston Beer Company and we discussed the Longshot beers, the Sam Adams Beer Glass, the new release of Utopias, and a New glass that is being designed just for Utopias.
