I also recently had an Uberhoppy, and although I don't know what buttermilk baby diaper smells like, I would compare the aroma of this beer to cat piss. Pretty similar I suppose.

We've certainly had Catty beers in the past. And I evaluated the uberhoppy as catty when I was trying to figure out that aroma but it wasn't as accurate as the baby poo. At least for someone who experiences such poo every day.
Guys, the double IPA show was well done. I don't think you give yourselves enough credit, I don't think it comes off as unpolished. I thought it was a great discussion of a style which I don't think it would be easy to differentiate between beers, but your descriptions helped me figure out what the differences to these beers could be.
Of course I do have one comment on the live show format. I think it is the way you should go from now on, I love getting the shows on a more regular schedule. There was one time during this show where it went dead for a little while, but just as I started thinking "I wonder if this is a live show" then Greg went on with a description of the beer. The worst part of the live show is the long disclaimer at the end of the show apologizing for it being a live show. If you want to give a short "this is a live show disclaimer" at the beginning, that's ok. But I think your fans accept the fact that the show has changed. I got presentation advice once from someone who gave great presentations. He said don't ever apologize for a presentation, if you do then you are telling people to think it wasn't a good presentation. But if you don't say anything you let them make up their own minds.
The live shows have been great, no need to apologize. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the comments. I'm glad we can pull off a decent live show format. I think we apologize because we pride ourselves in our product and if we aren't putting out the very best product that we can we feel like we are losing one of the big things that sets our podcast apart from many of the other shows. I always felt that the editing which allows us to put out a tightly produced show was one of our biggest assets. To your point about telling people I didn't think it was a good presentation. Well It's more that I didn't think it was a good as it could of been. But not drawing attention to it has it merits too, especially if most people wouldn't notice otherwise.
Not sure if you guys saw it, but the message board has been overrun with spam. Just thought I would post it here since if I post it on the board, it will be off the front page in 24 hours.
Craft Beer Radio is an Internet talk show about craft and micro brewed beers. The mission of the show is to spread the word of good beer. We introduce people to craft beer, and teach them about different beer styles, brewers who make them, and beer history. Whether you are new to craft beer or have been drinking it for more than 20 years we have something for you.

I haven't listed to the show
I haven't listened to the show yet, but the preshow and postshow links are linking to show No. 40.
Whoops
It's fixed now.
Good work on the live show
