With all this talk of

With all this talk of "intelligent TV" and how much Studio 60 sucked, I can't believe nobody's mourning the loss of one of the more original shows to hit of late: Andy Barker, PI. Did you guys just tune out on Thursdays as soon as 30 Rock went on hiatus or what? The hilarity that was Richter, Hale, and Presnel was something to withhold. Amazing. Of course, 6 episodes was all NBC gave it. Figures.

Watch it if you haven't. It's up there with some of the greats.

I agree with Greg, it was decent. but it didn't have that extra bit that made me love it. Maybe the memory of how good Andy Richter Controls the Universe was made me too critical. Or maybe Andy Barker had a little too much sitcom formula/pacing, I'm not sure what about it bugged me exactly.

Andy Richter Controls the Universe rocked ...

but, I found it really really enjoyable. The absolute absurdity of it made it great. Definitely deserved to be on the Thursday ticket more than Earl anymore.
