Back from the Great American Beer Fest, we drink all gold medal beers while Jeff tells about his tales of the GABF.

"Win"koop vs. "Wine"koop
It is my understanding that the brewpub is pronounced "Win"koop but the street on which it is located is pronounced "Wine"koop.
This was told to me be a beer drinker of the year award winner so I have reason to think it is true.
The Abyss
I was beginning to wonder when, if ever, that Abyss I sent would get tasted. Glad I could provide another 'Wow' beer, to go along with the Adam sent last year...
Hey, that makes two years in a row with a 'Wow' sent from the Pacific NW by me...hope I can find another to send in '08 to keep the streak alive!

Great show!
Perfect blend of what I have come to enjoy from your guys' podcast. There was great beer content, good stories, and the show made me long to try some new beer and get out to the GABF next year. I really need to catch up on my podcasts and get to the rest of your shows.
Speaking of good beer, I am really glad to hear the Abyss will be back soon. Now that I am living in Oregon, it may be worth a trip to Bend just to get some and see that part of the State.
