If you want to help out CBR there are several ways you can help. We accept donations from the paypal links below, or if you have some other way that you can help us, let us know.
Had a lot of fun, learnt a lot, am looking forward to the next one.
Lots of sub-topics we didn't discuss but that'll wait until the next BGRTs. The post-post-show was awesome (and "off the record," so to speak). Got some insight into deep stuff. Same about the brief but very useful Google Talk interactions.
Maybe next time we can find a way to have sideline private chats?
Twittered what I could:

I just hope I wasn't too tipsy on the recording. I haven't seen a show posted recently, so I'm not sure if the BGRT was after ep. # 101 or if there is also an ep. 102 somewhere out there also.
Ale-X !
I think I heard you on BOL, Buzz Out Loud at Cnet (??)
re: the Google talk interactions .. I wish there was a general room where we could type questions or comments while we talk .. like show notes ... someone's getting tipsy ... let some other people talk, etc. I'm not too much a fan of the pvt. chats. Maybe we can leave email addresses in the general chat.
I hope the shows turned out well !
I hope BGRT III will have more people and more international representation. Maybe We can try one at 9 am EST and get the people in Europe and Asia online too !
Anyway, speaking as the sole international person from the first BGRT, I have to say I think it was a lot harder for me to contribute much that was meaningful. Everyone else had common themes, common beers to drink, breweries to discuss etc. It was good to be able to offer an outside perspective on some issues though so who knows? I'd have loved to have joined you guys again, but the timing always places it smack in the middle of a work day here in NZ.
Steve,
You got me, I'm a fellow Buzzer. And since Tom Merritt has some fond memories of Austin, I plan on leaving more comments on that show.
What you describe is very close to what I had in mind. I must say, I'm so talkative that I tend to be extremely self-conscious about turn-taking. Messaging during the discussion could help. Not as a constant thing. But, on occasion, a kind of friendly nudge.
Especially if we have that many people on the line.
Sounds like four or five active participants would be easier to handle. Because it had been such a long time since BGRT2, I for one was overly excited about participating. But if we find a way to do BGRTs on a more regular basis, it could be a bit more focused.
Actually... Maybe some of us could organize a BGRT in the not-so-distant future, whether Greg and Jeff can participate or not. With four people, we could probably use Skype. And it could be thematic.
The objective, here, would be to take the burden off Jeff's and Greg's shoulders while keeping this going on.
Can't wait to listen to the 2:53:14 of BGRT3! ;-)

Craft Beer Radio is an Internet talk show about craft and micro brewed beers. The mission of the show is to spread the word of good beer. We introduce people to craft beer, and teach them about different beer styles, brewers who make them, and beer history. Whether you are new to craft beer or have been drinking it for more than 20 years we have something for you.
If you have comments or questions that you would like us to read over the air, Email Us.

Pretty excited about this.
Downloaded Ventrilo. It seems a bit weird but I'll trust you guys.
Is the BGRT going to be pretty much like the last one?

Are you guys planning to record and make the BGRT available for later listening? If not, I may at least want to join in and lurk.
