What is the genesis of the term? I now use it incessantly and it sums up a myriad of beers in fell swoop.

Macromuck has been around
Macromuck has been around awhile. I know I've been hearing it for quite some time, but I have no idea of the genesis. Tis one of the alluring mysteries of the craft beer revolution perhaps.
