If you want to help out CBR there are several ways you can help. We accept donations from the paypal links below, or if you have some other way that you can help us, let us know.
- i love well made iced tea made with fresh, organic, and unique ingredients and low\no sugar. (i've very tempted to plug a brand that i like by Honestly <-- do not think this is the forum.). i also enjoy buying loose or bagged tea too.
- recently i've been into exploring dark chocolate. growing up i always ate the massed produced milk chocolates, but lately i've been finding a taste for what i supposed could be called craft dark chocolate.
In addition to those, for me, I think of "craft" as something made with an eye for detail, usually on a small scale. Going by that, I like to support small local businesses and independent artists who put pride in their work and make good products. Some examples:
- a drawing, and a wall carving made by a street artist while i was on vacation
- a handmade bongo drum
- i love "Do It Yourself" type homemade music. music made on a low scale, just for the love of it. the internet has really expanded the possibilities for that.
However they have really gone down hill over the past year. I'm blaming my grocer for not selling them fresh, but maybe Newman has sold out. and suckified his products.
Seconding the chocolate: a local chocolate maker (and chocolatier) is organic and free trade, etc. They make incredible single origin bars. Not much is better than a bar of Ghana chocolate and some Top Sail.
Add to the list, local cheeses. There's a spot around here you can get raw cheese. It's the way cheese is supposed to be.
Pretty much any artisanal food product I can afford, especially cheese. I wish I had the time and money to be as into other things (wine, cigars, coffee, chocolate) as I am into beer.
Craft Beer Radio is an Internet talk show about craft and micro brewed beers. The mission of the show is to spread the word of good beer. We introduce people to craft beer, and teach them about different beer styles, brewers who make them, and beer history. Whether you are new to craft beer or have been drinking it for more than 20 years we have something for you.
