A quickie this time. Consider it a flashlight instead of a spotlight. Boulevard sent us two of their recent Smokestack beers and if they keep making beer like this, I'm moving to Kansas City.
That would be me. It was intended as a suggestion, not a correction, to clarify what it was that Greg was tasting. Great show as always guys.
I was happy/sad to hear about these, as I have the three smokestack series beers from this past year, but have yet to open them (sad because of how limited the release is of the ones you tried - 12k bottles of saison and 7k of the quad according to the release information (though I hear from you guys that that is different)!).
I like the idea of "flashlights" if that means that you release shows more often, though it's sort of odd having a pre-show and post-show that are each as-long or longer than the show itself. Might need to come up with a "flashlight" version of those parts of the show as well.
We get most of the Boulevard beers in Dallas, but we haven't gotten these two yet. The distributor I talked to said he had sampled them and hoped to bring them in soon. Hearing how good they were makes the wait much tougher.
Craft Beer Radio is an Internet talk show about craft and micro brewed beers. The mission of the show is to spread the word of good beer. We introduce people to craft beer, and teach them about different beer styles, brewers who make them, and beer history. Whether you are new to craft beer or have been drinking it for more than 20 years we have something for you.
