I would propose that Jeff's use of Twitter this past week should count as cruel and unusual punishment. Never in my life have I been so jealous of a beer event as I've been for this past week. Jeff's constant 'tweets' of the Philly Beer Week events have been little jabs throughout the day. Each of them teasing me every few hours about all the fun beer events that I am missing out on. Perhaps Greg is right Twitter is actually evil.

Agreed.
I couldn't agree more. I'm sitting here feeling very isolated at the far end of the world from all the "cool beer shit" happening everywhere except here. There are a lot of cool things about NZ, and it's kindof fun to be watching craft beer slowly happen here, but I can't help but feel we're at least ten years behind the USA in terms of craft beer. Reading about all that's happening is both inspiring and depressing at the same time.
That said, don't stop Jeff. It is cool. I'm just having a big old whinge. :)
You are right twitter is
You are right twitter is really bad for jealousy of beer events. I felt the same way at the 08 GABF. sitting at work seeing all the cool stuff people are doing. Sorry that you felt teased. I was just trying to include the listeners, not exclude them from the fun of philly beer week.
