Judy Wicks Interview

Hey Jeff

Right off the bat, I loved your interview with Judy Wicks. The Fair Food Movement a very important cause, and something that I would love to see pop up all over the country. Out here, the only brewery that really stresses buying local for their ingredients in their restaurant is Stone Brewing (view their philosophy on food)

This needs to be contagious throughout our craft brewing community in this country. Too many brewpubs serve the same standard crap purchased from the same wholesalers. Prepared with ready-made ingredients, frozen entrees, and cookie-cutter recipes, the food ends up tasting 'meh'. Most of it is deep fried or has the hell cooked out of it. More often than not, I end up going for the beer, but eat someplace else. An evening at a brewpub should be a memorable, healthy experience like what appears to be the case with White Dog Cafe.

I liked a lot of the interviews, but this one stroked it over the left field wall for me. Well done, my friend.
