What is your thought about the Beer Geek taking Scott to task in the latest magazine. I thought the BG completely overstepped his boundaries by talking down to Scott (ive been doing this longer than you've been brewing). But what did scott think about the rebuttal? Seemed pretty heated for BA mag

I have never tried any of the methods discussed to keep beer fresh, so I have no comment on the two sides of the argument.
That being said, I did think it was very immature to talk down to Scott. Even if the things Scott said were 100 percent wrong (I have no idea if they were, I'm just making a point) it would be wrong to talk down to him like he is a four year old. I like BA's website and their magazine, but their subscription price is certainly not cheap. I don't know if it is worth it to subscribe, but I do since I view it as more of a donation to keep the sight going, as opposed to paying for the magazine. As a person who has worked in the newspaper and magazine industry, I do know that if they keep calling their readers names in print and treating them like they are idiots, they are going to lose them.
