CBR 161: Strong, Black, and Beery

Coriander, Cardamom, Caraway, Grains of Paradise; Brewers have added many seeds to their beers over the years. But perhaps none are as distinctive as the seeds (or "beans") of the Coffea family of trees. Hulled and roasted, these beans form the foundation for one of other most widely drunk beverages in the world. Today we taste five coffee beers and see, once again, what the humble coffee bean has to offer.

Links

I prefer the BA links as the brewery links tend not to be as permanent. In fact, if you click on the Ballast Point link, it ties to Sculpin - I couldn't find any information on their website about Victory at Sea.

Noted. I wanted to try

Noted. I wanted to try something different this time, since BA can be really slow sometimes, and the websites can offer more information. Maybe if I put in a [BA] link beside it?

I would go with the Rate

I would go with the Rate Beer links. The site works much faster than BA since the forums are not as busy and I find that with most beers, there are far more ratings on RB than BA. It seems BA is where people go to post on forums and RB is where people go to review beers. I use both sites, but find myself liking RB more and more as time goes by.

I've always been partial to

I've always been partial to BA so when I do the links I use BA. that's why the links usually go there, but the general laggyness is annoying at times.

Same here. I never did

Same here. I never did anything on Rate Beer until about six months ago, when it was basically impossible to get onto BA. It seemed like every time I tried to log on I got the white screen over and over again. Since then, I have been using Rate Beer to look up beers and BA for the forums.
